Finally after a long wait the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) of India gave a nod to upgrade Indian Airforce’s fleet of 51 Mirage-2000H to Mirage-2000-5 Mk-2 standards.It was months of waiting before this deal is finalized.The upgrade cost approx 2.4 bn USD.Which includes new Avionics, Thales RDY-2 multi mode radar and RF/IR MICA air-to-air missiles. The deal with Dassault, Thales and MBDA will be signed shortly.
